Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application "Yarikuri" (the "App") provided by DoLLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 1 (Applicability)

  1. These Terms set out the conditions for providing the App and the rights and obligations between Users and us, and apply to all use of the App.
  2. Any individual provisions, guidelines, or rules that we publish separately within the App form part of these Terms. In the event of a conflict, the individual provisions prevail unless otherwise stated.

Article 2 (Use environment)

  1. Communication equipment, communication costs, electricity, and any other items required to use the App are the User's responsibility.
  2. Users are responsible for verifying that their device meets the App's operating requirements (supported OS versions, etc.).

Article 3 (Accounts)

The App does not require account registration. All data is stored on the User's device.

Article 4 (Prohibited conduct)

When using the App, Users must not:

  1. Violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals.
  2. Infringe the intellectual-property rights, privacy, reputation, or other rights/interests of us, other users, or any third party.
  3. Exploit vulnerabilities in the App, or reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it.
  4. Copy, modify, or redistribute the App's source code, assets, or data structures without authorisation.
  5. Click on advertisements (Google AdMob, etc.) fraudulently or interfere with ad delivery.
  6. Use automated tools (bots, etc.) to operate the App.
  7. Place excessive load on our servers or networks.
  8. Engage in any other conduct we deem inappropriate.

Article 5 (Advertising)

  1. The App displays advertisements delivered by Google AdMob.
  2. By watching an in-app "rewarded ad", Users may unlock decorative themes for 24 hours. Watching rewarded ads is optional and does not affect the App's core functionality.
  3. Advertisers, ad content, and ad-delivery control are managed by Google. We are not responsible for issues arising from ad content.

Article 6 (Pricing)

The App is provided free of charge. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will announce them in advance.

Article 7 (Data handling)

  1. All data generated within the App (expenses, budgets, savings goals, pool balance, etc.) is stored on the User's device.
  2. Users may export/import data as a JSON file using the in-app backup feature. The User is responsible for managing exported files.

Article 8 (Intellectual property)

  1. All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual-property rights related to the App belong to us or to the lawful right-holders.
  2. Within the scope set out in these Terms, Users may use the App for personal purposes. Redistribution, reproduction, and modification are prohibited.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

  1. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the App.
  2. The App is provided "AS IS", and Users use it at their own risk.
  3. We are not liable for any damages (loss or corruption of device data, lost opportunity, financial damages, etc.) arising from the User's use of the App, except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
  4. We do not guarantee the success of backup, restore, or data migration. Users are advised to maintain independent backups of important data.

Article 10 (Changes to / discontinuation of the App)

  1. We may modify the App's content or features, or discontinue the App, without prior notice to Users.
  2. We are not responsible for any damages incurred by Users or third parties as a result of such changes or discontinuation.

Article 11 (Changes to these Terms)

  1. We may amend these Terms without prior notice when we deem it necessary.
  2. Amended Terms take effect from the time they are published on the App's site.
  3. By continuing to use the App after amendment, the User is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 12 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms and the use of the App are governed by the laws of Japan.
  2. Any dispute arising out of or related to the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
